Making an low-cost indie game
Gotta have high hopes – just like the song says!
We’re here to create an amazingly funny and beautiful 3rd person shooter game with elements from games like Hitman and Mad Max, blended with the visual style of Tim Burton’s amazing 3D features.
Come behind the scenes
This is a unique opportunity for you to follow along on what is going to be a long and sometimes painful journey of learning to make a great game.
Technologies we use:
Follow our progress as we go from sketches and raw material to final, polished product
Making a game is all about putting one piece of the puzzle in place at a time.
It is possible to make great games with small teams.
But there are a lot of pieces that needs to fall into place. Art, sounds, music, dialogue, programming and the overall feel of the game. Not to mention marketing and sales once it’s done!
With this blog we want to show how we do it, and hopefully it can inspire others to pursue the same thing.
We're going for that magically delightful Tim Burton style
Visually, the game will be looking like a Tim Burton 3D Animated movie (hopefully). Other inspirations:
- Hitman (stealth functions)
- Mad Max (story and gameplay)
- Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion (certain camera features and scene transitions)
- Inside (tone and feeling)
- Little nightmares (tone and feeling)
